Eläkeläiset to Eurovision-final

Eläkeläiset will be present in the final for Finnish Eurovision-qualification on 30th of Jan in Pirkkahalli at Tampere. They will of course win and grab the place for Oslo finals in May.

The Monsters of Humppa, Eläkeläiset are running for the Eurovision 2010. The Finnish final will be held in Tampere in the end of January. The Elk song is called Hulluna humpasta and it is included in their new double-compilation, Humppabingo.

Stupido and Bale sign The Capital Beat

8-piece ska/reggae-outfit The Capital Beat is the latest signing on Stupido. The guys will have a single out before a skandinavian tour with Reel Big Fish in early March. The deal is done together with ska-specialist label Bale (The Valkyrians, Liberator, Goon etc.).

Desert Planet will take their Game Boy -pop to Electro-Mechanica -festival which is headlined by Mouse on Mars.
"Electro-Mechanica" festival will take place on 13-15 of November 2008 in the Sergey Kuryokhin Modern Art Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The new Eläkeläiset -album, finally named Humppa United made the Top Ten on Finnish Album charts. It peaked at number nine the week it was released. Long Live Humppa!
