From the dark streets of midwinter comes the debut album of the Hiljaiset Kadut punk trio, Onnellisten kaupunki. The album is a foggy journey into the grey core of the city’s stories, where danger is felt, grip slips and inexplicable longing hangs over the rooftops.
The quiet streets (Hiljaiset Kadut in Finnish) are familiar to every small town in Finland, but this particular orchestra is used to treading them, especially in Mikkeli, although the band now also has ties to the capital region.
