The music of the marching 13-member horn orchestra stretches from the playful tradition of New Orleans to both Balkan rioting and Finnish rooted melancholy. Bad Ass Brass Band is a live horn music performance that takes over the entire space of the event – be it a parade, a street performance, a festival stage or a beer tent!
The groups members have influenced in many bands such as: Ismo Alanko Säätiö, Tuure Kilpeläinen & Kaihon Karavaani, UMO Jazz Orchestra, J. Karjalainen & Mustat Lasit, The Balls, Dave Lindholm Band, Tundramatiks sekä Nicole Willis & The Soul Investigators. The orchestra has played in events such as Pori Jazz, Ruisrock, Tampere Jazz Happening, Imatra Big Band Festival, Musiikki & Media gala, and many various openings and street events.
