Huuto! was born in an imaginary encounter between underground poet Markku Into and MC5 in Helsinki in 2015. Rockers marinated in various different bands from rock to prog and from rock to pop
beat their heads to the walls of their training room and to the low ceilings of the concert stages, until Stupido Records slammed its door and promised to release the band’s debut album Maailma on SS-market in February 2018.
The album was followed through Stupido by Metamarket-ep in early 2019, which
was celebrated on a three-gig tour with Irish band: Therapy?.
In addition to the album, the catalog includes dozens of gigs, seven-inch,
digital singles, few underground culture zine and a dozen of
DIY music videos.
“We don’t ask for guidance, we create our own operating models,” the band
says and continues, “We don’t give mercy in a live situation, we show where
the bar is set. ”
